2. THE DATA CONTROLLER RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PERSONAL DATA
LLS is the data controller responsible for your personal data collected through this website.
LLS is a United States (Arizona) based translation service provider, operating through their founder and their partners, to provide their clients with legal and financial translation services and other related services (“services”) in accordance with the relevant laws of the jurisdictions in which they respectively operate. Additionally, we are subject to the investigatory and enforcement power of the Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”) in the United States, which oversees acts or practices in or affecting commerce by any person, partnership, or corporation.
LLS is primarily hired by law firms and other companies (i.e. legal entities) who give their directives and as such, are not “data subjects” as defined in the GDPR. However, personal data may be provided to us (e.g. personal data relating to lawyers or staff at law firms who are existing or prospective clients, or personnel at prospective or existing corporate clients) as part of such directives.

3. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 18
Our services are only intended for the use of adults. If you are under 18, do not use this website. If we learn that we have collected personal data relating to children under the age of 18, without verification of parental consent, we will delete that data. LLS is located in the United States (Arizona). As a result, your personal data is processed and stored in the United States, and thus outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
We use reasonable efforts to comply with our obligations under the GDPR. We are willing to sign Data Processing Agreements that include the Standard Contractual Clauses set by the European Commission to assure you that your personal data will be respected and protected.
9. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We delete personal data that is no longer necessary for us to have as a business or to provide you with our services. We may then destroy such files without further notice.
10. CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We are committed to keeping personal data provided to us secure. We have implemented a security policy, based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. This is a security framework designed by the US government to help public and private entities identify, prevent and detect cyber risk and cyber incidents, and to react to any cyber incidents that do occur.
All our partners and data sub-contractors (i.e. persons who process your personal data on our behalf, for the above stated purposes) who can access personal data and are involved in their processing, are required to respect the confidentiality of those data.

Your right of access
